Unpopular Choices
October 1, 2007Sometimes we need to make unpopular choices. Decisions that other people think are not the best ones to make. In the process, people around us tell us what they think is the right thing to do – sometimes in an offending manner. But of course there are people who show their support in whatever decisions we make.
A couple of months ago, I settled on investing in mutual funds. Unlike other people, I played it my way (and I’m still playing it my way). I didn’t follow the conventional “Buy Low, Sell High” goal strictly. I decide on what move to make based on online business newspapers. So far, it has not failed me. The returns I gained in two months actually outperformed its standard return by 2.27%. “I’m probably playing it the right way,” I told myself.
Just recently, I made a decision that for sure will have a great impact to my career. It is again an unpopular decision. But whatever will happen, I’m ready for it. Who knows, it might come out perfectly well just like the mutual funds.


A social one. Aims at the stars. Conservative with money - usually. Broad in ideas. Ideals applied to home. Aggressive socially. With high aspirations, sometimes too high! Loves freedom. Big-hearted, benevolent in attitude. Persistent and practical in work. Sometimes sportive. Loves children. Aspires onward......
