Hai and iie

November 23, 2007

It has been a tiring week. There are so many unfinished tasks waiting for me. I don’t feel like attending to any of them. Ahhh, I just want to sleep and eat and sleep some more.  I feel like I deserve to treat myself for the good things that I have accomplished recently. However, there are still so many things that need to be done.

The nihongo class is becoming a curse. I don’t feel like attending it anymore. I realized that it is hard to learn a new language while having a regular 8-hour work and 2 graduate courses. God, I should have known all of it before.

I thought I have unloaded one task when I missed the nihongo midterm exam. Fool me, I got an email yesterday that there is a scheduled make-up exam tomorrow. Whew! I have two study 13 chapters of this overwhelming dose of Hai and Iie.

Expect the unexpected

November 22, 2007

Yesterday's trading session was a big surprise. The PSE index dropped by almost one percent. And now, it will further slide to its lowest point in the past two months. This is really depressing.

FYI. The relative strength index (RSI) of the PSE is now pegged at 28%. It means it's buying time. However, with the current trend and the forecast that US economy is not in its deepest point yet, maybe it's best to hold on to your money and wait for positive news.

PSE poised to open higher

November 21, 2007

For the past few days (or weeks), the Philippine stock market has been taking cue on the performance of the US stock market due to insignificant local stimulants. Since its US counterpart climbed back on Monday, it is expected that PSE will follow suit.

By the way, my last forecast was perfect. :)

Bearish Mode

November 19, 2007

The Philippine Stock Exchange index will retreat tomorrow after recovering by more than 1% today. I'm afraid that it will be the lowest point in the past six weeks and will definitely be below the 3,600 mark. Blame it to the battered US economy.

Sablay

November 17, 2007

Last Thursday, I received an email from the University of the Philippines Open University that I passed the MIS Comprehensive Examination. I was one of the 4 lucky examinees who passed the said exam. If everything will fall into the right place, I will be able to wear the UP sablay this coming March.
